Calling all women
     who never dared to open their best friends PC,
     who started repairing their bicycle but were stopped by a gentleman's helping hand,
     who never got into contact with a computer,
     who do coding or work in a technical profession and don't like their
     role as "the exceptional" woman
to participate in the third /Eclectic Tech Carnival (abbrev. /etc), that will
be held in Belgrade.

Always wanted to learn more about how computers and tech stuff work? Love
playing with these bits and pieces and want to meet other women who do too? 
etc is the place to be this summer!
We only use Open Source products. Basically this means that the code that makes
up software or applications is not kept secret and is free for everyone.
It will be okay to break things.
It will be exhausting.
There will be communication barriers, but we intend to challenge them!

For each topic there will be computer workshops and social and political
discussions. Eating, drinking and relaxing facilities are available.
We hope to see you there!

***** Organization and Registration *****
Local people either register or drop by. For non-local people, free
registration per email (reg@etc.genderchangers.org) or on http://
etc.genderchangers.org. For participation we ask for 3.5 Eco (about 3 Euro) per
day - calculate the exact amount using http://www.eyfa.org/ecoratescurrent.htm.
Women who cannot pay are not excluded! Accomodation (bring a sleeping bag with
you) is for free and Joining our meals (breakfast and some cooking) is about 5
Euro per day.
We will try to run child care for kids during our workshops. The location is
not prepared for wheel-chairs, but we are willing to give assistance. If you
need child care, assistance or ...- please tell us in advance! In case you need
to apply for funding for your own travel costs and participation and you need a
letter of recommendation from us: send an email (info@etc.genderchangers.org)
with a short motivation text.
/etc is being organised by volunteers from Genderchangers, Amsterdam,
chicaslinux, Madrid, the /etc-greece group, Athens, zene na delu, Belgrade and
Mama, Zagreb. Donations towards costs are of course, always welcome!!
